I was so pleased to see that we had such a great turn out on Tuesday night.  It feels wonderful to be back singing again in St John’s.  We covered the first half of Mary Don’t You Weep as performed by Aretha Franklin and The Southern California Community Gospel Choir (see below) and the verse and chorus of Lollipop as performed by the Chordettes.  Needless to say, we had a lot of fun re-learning how to “POP” our cheeks.

I’m keeping my ear out for potential soloists to sing a verse each of Mary.  Anyone inspired to give Aretha a run for her money???  Do come see me if you’ve been waiting for this golden opportunity to shine!
