    • Hi Leah,

All you have to do is show up around 7 and then sing! I won’t be there this coming Tuesday but Dan will make you feel welcome, especially if you mention it’s your first time. We don’t require committment from you, we just ask that you come when you feel like it and that you have a good time singing.

      Hope to see you soon,

      Jolene

    • Hi there, We have resumed rehearsals already but are taking a step away from the gospel theme just for January. As of Tues 31st Jan our new choir leader Franca Locandro will be taking over with a new injection of Gospel repertoire. Hope to see you soon! Jolene

    • Hi Bel,

I’m not sure if anyone got back to you all that time ago but I’ve just seen your message now after some time overseas.

The Brunswick Community Gospel Choir is finishing up for the year but I’ll be taking it over again in the New Year from Tuesday Feb 5th. I hope that you’ve found a place to sing in the meantime, if not you can always join us next year.

We meet Tuesdays at 7-8:30pm at St John’s Church corner Moreland Rd and Victoria Rd West Brunswick – no auditions and only costs $5!

I also run vocal technique group classes and private tuition in Thornbury. More info here http://beautifulnoises.wordpress.com/

      Warm Regards,

      Jolene

  1. Hi, will you be singing next Tuesday? Thinking of coming along for a sing. Also, what songs are you doing at the moment?
    Thanks,
    Laura

  2. Hi there,

I am looking to learn singing & thought that joining a choir may help. I am particularly interested in soul music ie Aretha Franklin.
I also read that the choir teacher offers private lessons. Could you please inform me of these costs.

    Cheers,

    Grace

    • Hi Grace,

Sorry about the late response! You can rock up to choir any tuesday night for a sing, otherwise contact me to arrange a private singing lesson on 0450 024 450. Lessons are $60 an hour, concession rates also apply.

      Regards,

      Jolene

  3. Hey I’m interested in checking out the choir with a view to join.

I’ve never sung before but would like to give it a go.
