Vax status update We have decided to no longer insist on proof of vaccination status as a requirement, in line with public health advice and gov’t policy, but we recommend you are. We request that all members refrain from coming in if symptomatic with any cold and flu symptoms to help protect vulnerable members of the community.
BCGC welcomes new members with open arms, so all you have to do is come along and join in. This is a choir for everyone, regardless of age, background or belief system, and all levels and abilities are welcome. No auditions, no prerequisites and no experience necessary – as long as you love to sing, we have a place for you! We perform various styles of music, from gospel through to soul, pop, African material & world sounds, focusing on finding a personal connection to the music and singing with joy! Let loose and soak up the good vibes, rhythms and harmonies, and enjoy the energy of group sound.
Meet our choir leaders Loz Irwin-Ray and Reuben Legge.
**To book your place please Contact Us as soon as possible in order to receive an email with full details and payment instructions. If you run out of time to do this, come along anyway and see our administrator Anjali on the evening to discuss payment/enrolment.

Hi Jolene
After experiencing a lot of grief and loss over the last few years I have been re connecting with my spiritual faith and also looking for an outlet to pour my emotional energy into, I’ve always thought singing and playing an instrument must be such a fantastic emotional outlet. I have never sung or played an instrument before but would be willing to give it a go. Your choir looks like a very warm encouraging friendly environment and for some reason I’ve always been drawn to Gospel music. If I can muster up the courage I would love to give your choir a go. Please let me know if I am able to join your group and what’s involved to get started. Stay safe and I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards

I am interested in joining your choir. I live locally and like the variety of music you perform. I would like to come along one night to meet you and see you in action! I understand you are not back until term 2 but I would like to keep in touch and come along when you are back up and running. Looking forward to meeting everyone Pat Sturrock
