From the Heart is an intimate afternoon of lovingly hand-crafted music with local musicians – Songrise, All the Way Home, and featuring special guest Hanna Schotten and friends.

About the artists:

Drawn together by their deep passion for creating harmony, in community as much as in music, Songrise are Emily Hayes, Flip Case and Nicki Johnson. Singing about life, longing and constellations, three unique voices entwine in a luscious dance of harmony, rhythm and body percussion: potent evidence of the whole transcending the sum of its parts.

Hanna Schotten blends intricate folk and jazz arrangements with powerful, honest lyrics sung with beauty and sensitivity.

All the Way Home are two singers armed with stringed things that make your heart sing. Craig and Nicki write love songs for humanity and the planet.

REGULAR REHEARSALS:
WEDNESDAYS  7:00pm–8:15pm

We meet every Wednesday (during school terms) from 7:00–8:15pm at our home in beautiful St. John’s. You are very welcome to arrive from set-up time at 6.45pm for a cuppa and a chat!
